How do I change the sizes of a PDF?

My computer is a Fujitsu with Windows Vista, and Microsoft Word (2007). I need to convert a word document into a PDF (which I think I have now done) but now I still need to convert the file from “8.5×11″ to make a trim size of 5″ x 8”. I am terrible with computers and a detailed, step-by-step guide to doing this would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

You can edit the original Word document to the desired size and then convert to PDF.
